About this Course
This course draws upon evidence based organisational neuroscience to provide leaders with a foundational understanding how the brain works which in turn influences behaviour. This knowledge enables leaders to develop greater self-awareness and an improved understanding of the factors that influence the quality of interaction, connection, psychological safety and engagement.
Course Content
This course was designed and is delivered by leadership subject matter experts, within this program we cover:
- The key organising principles of the brain and the related impact on behaviour.
- How destructive workplace cultures evolve, including the negative impact of unsafe behaviours (e.g. psychosocial risk) on psychological safety and employee engagement.
- The key social domains that influence behaviour.
- The limitations of the brains self-regulation network.
- Emotions and the various ways we regulate our emotions.
- The implications of stress on cognitive function and the negative and positive
impacts of stress on the brain and the body. - The concept that emotions are contagious.
