About this Course
This program ensures that learners are able to formally manage behaviour and performance concerns consistent with employee relations best practice. We achieve this outcome by presenting the key principles that underpin best practice in a manner that enables the formal process to be easily understood and consistently applied.
Course Content
This course was designed and is delivered by employee relations and leadership subject matter experts, within this program we cover:
- Foundational organisational neuroscience including the key organising principles of the brain and the related impact on behaviour.
- How destructive workplace cultures evolve, including the negative impact of unsafe behaviours (e.g. psychosocial risk) on psychological safety and employee engagement.
- The key legal risks that leaders are exposed to when managing poor behaviour or performance. Including practical steps to mitigate each risk.
- How to undertake preliminary investigations, including witness interviews and assess evidence.
- How to prepare allegations and run effective response meetings and conduct further investigations.
- How to determine the most appropriate outcomes to formal disciplinary matters.
