About this Course
Our foundation program boosts the confidence of leaders to make early and effective interventions, when minor behaviour or performance concerns are identified. We achieve this outcome by introducing learners to best practice employee relations processes and foundational neuroscience principles. This unique blend combines to enable leaders to make a positive impact on team engagement.
Course Content
This course is designed and delivered by employee relations and leadership subject matter experts, within this program we cover:
- Foundational organisational neuroscience including the key organising principles of the brain and the related impact on behaviour.
- How destructive workplace cultures evolve, including the negative impact of unsafe behaviours (e.g. psychosocial risk) on psychological safety and employee engagement.
- The key legal risks that leaders are exposed to when managing poor behaviour or performance. Including practical steps to mitigate each risk.
- The connection between relationships and effective management of behaviour and performance.
- How to maintain appropriate records including file notes, and preliminary investigations.
- How to plan for and have effective counselling conversations using our Counselling/Effective Conversations framework.
