Armand brings over 10 years of web development experience to his role as Senior Developer at EMA. Working closely with Herman Combrink and the technology team, he helps drive innovation on the MyEMS platform through thoughtful technical solutions and user-centred design.

His expertise spans both front-end interfaces and back-end infrastructure, with recent experience building customer-facing systems for multiple brands across South Africa. Armand’s background in visual communication and multimedia design gives him a valuable edge—he understands not just how to build applications, but how to make them intuitive and effective for the people using them.

What distinguishes Armand is his dual perspective as both developer and designer. He combines technical proficiency in .NET and Microsoft Azure with a keen eye for user experience, ensuring the MyEMS platform evolves to meet real-world needs. His approach focuses on creating solutions that work smoothly behind the scenes whilst remaining straightforward and accessible for users managing complex workplace matters.

Armand holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Open Window and maintains current certifications in Microsoft Azure architecture and administration. His commitment to continuous learning and his collaborative approach make him a valuable addition to EMA’s technology team as we continue enhancing Australia’s leading employee relations case-management solution.
