
Aged Care Whistleblowing for Workers/Responsible Persons
This course provides a concise, practical introduction to the core responsibilities of workers and organisations under the Aged Care Whistleblowing reforms. Additionally, this course is designed to assist organisations comply with their whistleblower training requirements for workers and responsible persons in accordance with the Aged Care Act 2024 (Cth) (โActโ) and the Aged Care Rules 2025 (Cth).

CONTENT
This course has been designed to meet the Aged Care Whistleblowing training obligations for all aged care workers and responsible persons. Within this program we cover:
- What is a qualifying disclosure?
- What must I do if I identify a qualifying disclosure?
- What are the role and responsibilities of individuals and recipients of disclosures?
- What are the Aged Care Whistleblowing confidentiality obligations on employers?
- What are the penalties for breaching the Aged Care Whistleblowing confidentiality obligations?
- What action must my employer take when I make a qualifying disclosure?
- What support must I receive when I make a qualifying disclosure?
Knowledge Assessment:
To confirm understanding all learners are assessed against the above content.
DETAILS
- Duration: 1-hour workshop
- Delivery: Face-to-face or online via Teams
- Engagement: Sessions are capped at 30 attendees
- Pricing:
- Individual Workshop
- $720 per workshop.
- Volume bookings: $650 per workshop when 5 workshops are booked and used within a 12-month period.
- Multiple same day workshops:
- $2400 per day when a maximum of 5 workshops are booked on the same day at the same location.
- Volume bookings: $2160 per day when a maximum of 5 workshops are booked and used within a 12-month period (can be used at multiple locations).
- Individual Workshop
- Exclusions:ย GST, room hire, catering, and reasonable travel/accommodation expenses for face-to-face sessions outside the Adelaide metropolitan area
- Customisation: Bespoke training options are available; a quote will be provided prior to delivery.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All aged care workers, including volunteers, which have been engaged to deliver funded aged care services, and responsible persons (as defined by the Act).
